What is Pilates?
Pilates is a method of exercise designed and developed by German born, physical therapist pioneer, Joseph H. Pilates. It promotes maximum muscle strength,while increasing flexibility, shapes the body, andmakes it stronger and more attractive. Pilatesoffers a superior standard of kinetic movementsthat are physiologically sound. It develops themuscles of the body from the inside out,improves suppleness of the limbs, functioningof the vital organs and endocrine glands,clarifies the mind and develops the will. Feedback indicates that Pilates helps my clients enjoy better quality sleep.
Josephs father, a native of , Greece had been a prize-winning gymnast, while his German born mother was a naturopath who believed in the principle of stimulating the body to heal itself without artificial drugs.

Amply equipped with reformers, cadillac, tower units, high chair, ped-o-pull, orbit, Core Align and numerous optional support apparatus and props. The beautifully crafted blonde hardwood equipment is manufactured by Balanced Body. Through precise & dynamic movement, clients restore ease and efficiency in the body. We understand the relationship between stressful physical demands, compensatory imbalances and limitations in movement and flexibility. Participate in sophisticted, expertly crafted workouts designed for clients with high levels of physical ability as well as those with limitations and conditions such as fibromyalgia, scoliosis, osteoporosis, arthritis, back pain, various injuries, pre-natal and post-natal.
