Catherine the Great! She is an incredibly talented, creative and attentive Pilates instructor. Her studio is small, clean, cozy and chock full of amazing equipment and gadgets. No session is ever the same - but every minute is focused and well spent. She has just three reformers, so classes are always small. I love that. I am 55, in pretty good shape - but felt I was losing muscle strength and tone. I am regaining my strength, and also getting in touch with my body in a way I wish I had known in my 30s and 40s. What is Pilates?

Pilates is a method of exercise designed and developed by German born, physical therapist pioneer, Joseph H. Pilates. Utilizing specially designed equipment, his innovative method educates, re-patterns, realigns, and balances the body. It promotes maximum muscle strength, while increasing flexibility, shapes the body. Pilates offers a superior standard of kinetic movements that are physiologically sound. It develops the muscles of the body from the inside out, improves suppleness of the limbs, functioning of the vital organs, endocrine glands, clarifies the mind and develops the will.  Feedback indicates that Pilates helps my clients enjoy better quality sleep.

Josephs father, a native of , Greece had been a prize-winning gymnast, while his German born mother was a naturopath who believed in the principle of stimulating the body to heal itself.


Our studio has traditional equipment and modern units like the Core Align & Power Plate Vibration workouts. Amply equipped with reformers, cadillac, tower units, high chair, ped-o-pull, orbit, and numerous optional support apparatus and props.

Catherine is phenomenal. I was actually challenged and sweated. i am never challenged in pilates, so i was pleasantly surprised. the class was hard- in a good way..cannot wait to go back
